Inspector Matt Paisley has been a police officer for over 20 years. Throughout his career he has focussed on a proactive approach to neighbourhood policing, with a strong problem-solving ethic. An Inspector since 2019, Matt has commanded the locality of Bury St Edmunds, been the tactical lead for anti-social behaviour, licensing and rural & wildlife crime, worked as the Staff Officer to the Suffolk Chief Officer Team, and supported the Learning & Development department. In October 2025, Matt became the Locality Inspector for Sudbury & Haverhill, an area he knows particularly well having policed Sudbury at both PC and Sergeant ranks.
