I am Connor Lyon and I am the Inspector for Mid Suffolk Community Policing Team.
I have been part of Suffolk Constabulary since 2009 and have had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles throughout my career to date, including in Response, the Night Time Economy Team and my previous role working on projects in The Futures Hub. I have good experience in Community Policing and understand the value it provides through our work with partnership agencies, problem solving and engaging with as many different demographics and communities in the area we work.
Outside of work I enjoy sports and socialising with friends and spending time with my family.
I am Jamie White and I am the Sgt for Mid Suffolk Community Policing Team.
I have been a police officer for 8 years working in both Essex police and Suffolk Constabulary. I have recently been promoted to the rank of Sgt and I am responsible for 5 Police Officers and 3 Police Community Support Officers on the Mid Suffolk Community Policing Team. I am passionate about Community Policing building relationships with partner agencies and working together to solve problems that impact the local community.
Outside of work my passion is sport and you will find me walking my dog, running, on the golf course and playing cricket.
My title is PCSO 3287 Abigail Durrant. I have held this epaulette number since July 2013 when I joined Suffolk Police, initially starting out in Eye before transferring to Stowmarket after the restructure. Although based in Stowmarket, as a PCSO I cover the whole Stowmarket Locality . From Redgrave to Somersham and from Thurston to Framsden. I have been fortunate enough to have been supported through my Masters Degree in Crime and Community Safety which allowed me to be part of a Working Group, created to review and improve Public Confidence in Policing prior to having my young family. Family aside, outside work my biggest interest is playing Rugby. I have played since I was 19 years old. In this time I have represented Suffolk and Eastern Counties but with age and family commitments, I am enjoying club level rugby. During the off season I am looking at alternative physical challenges so we’ll see where that takes me!
Hi I'm David,
I started my journey for Suffolk Police in 2005 as a special constable before taking on a full-time role as a PSCO in December 2006 based in Stowmarket as part of the SNT, which has since evolved into the CPT and support my colleagues in Stowmarket, and Mid Suffolk. I have been fortunate within my role to have been a qualified E-Fit operator and cognitive interviewer.
I have enjoyed almost 20yrs within the voluntary sector, spending over 10yrs as a FA qualified grassroots football manager/coach and welfare officer. In 2015 I set up the Stowmarket Police Cadet unit and have continued with this up to the current day with weekly sessions.
I very much enjoy my sports with interests in football, golf and cycling.
PCSO 3362 Matthew Brown.
I have worked for Suffolk Constabulary for 20 years, doing two different roles as a Custody Detention officer for 5 years and a Police Community Support Officer for 15 years.
I am Match Funded for the Parish of Thurston.
I enjoy all aspects of my job assisting the local community with issues that arise.
My interests outside of work include Golf, Football and Speedway.
PC 202 Stephens.
I have worked within Suffolk Constabulary for around 4 years, where I have had two different roles. I joined the Constabulary in 2021, and I started my career by working on one of the response teams within Stowmarket for 3 years, before joining the Community Policing Team in May 2024.
I am passionate about my role within the Constabulary, working with partner agencies and resolving any issues which may arise.
I enjoy conducting lots of foot patrols around my area and meeting new people each day.
