To tackle the issue of retail theft within our town centres and retail parks and to work with partner organisations to reduce the risk of re-offending.

Mobile patrols have taken place in Lowestoft Town Centre and retail parks.
Police have been talking with retail staff to understand the issue more fully.
Positive action is being taken against anyone identified committing retail crime.
Police are working with local CCTV to identity those involved.
Preventive orders will be considered for anyone who persistently re-offends.

To provide a visible policing presence within our busier communities during the evening periods to provide reassurance to residents and businesses.

Officers have been patrolling our communities within Lowestoft, Beccles and Bungay.
Extra visibility will take place in the evening periods over the next two months.
Officers have included patrols within residential alleyways, car parks, church yards, play parks, areas where late night social venues exist as well as our residential streets.

To Tackle the issue of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and low-level disorder within our residential Lowestoft Harbour ward.

Police are working jointly with the local authority over reports of ASB and lower-level crime.
Mobile police patrols have taken place in the areas of Tonning Street, Trafalgar Street, Norwich Road and the surrounding area.
