Your community policing team
I am PC 75 CURTIS. I joined Suffolk Constabulary at the beginning of 2017. Since joining Suffolk Constabulary I have always been involved in front line policing either on a response or proactive team.
I have worked in both rural areas and urban town but have spent most of my career Ipswich.
I joined the CPT in May 2025 and am excited about building relationships with people in the community and help to prevent and detect crime.

Clear Hold Build initiative in Westgate/Gipping Wards
Action taken:
To implement a 3 stage approach to serious and organised crime within the two wards and work with our partners, local communities, business premises and design out crime officers to strenthen the community and provide resilience preventing SOC returning

Priority:
Target the most prolific offenders, including those committing ASB and theft from shop offences, using preventative orders
Action taken:
Currently there are 23 orders in place for offenders. Police will continue to utilise the orders and work with partners to see reductions in ASB and other offences.

To work in partnership with other agencies to reduce ASB in identified residential properties relating to vulnerable persons.
Action taken:
High visibility patrols and continued address visits. Work with our partners, local communities and design out crime officers.
