Inspector Matt Paisley has been a police officer for over 20 years. Throughout his career he has focussed on a proactive approach to neighbourhood policing, with a strong problem-solving ethic. An Inspector since 2019, Matt has commanded the locality of Bury St Edmunds, been the tactical lead for anti-social behaviour, licensing and rural & wildlife crime, worked as the Staff Officer to the Suffolk Chief Officer Team, and supported the Learning & Development department. In October 2025, Matt became the Locality Inspector for Sudbury & Haverhill, an area he knows particularly well having policed Sudbury at both PC and Sergeant ranks.
Sergeant Olly Williams has been a Police officer for 13 years and has worked on response teams, Safer neighbourhood teams and now is the sergeant of Community Policing team which involves tackling the issues which matter the most to the community including drugs, ASB, hate crime, problem solving, youth crime as well as taking responsibility for the delivery of Police within schools within the locality.
Olly has a passion for the local area and enjoys the variety of the role within the Police and enjoys being proactive in his Policing approach.
Following seven years of service in the British Army, I transitioned into policing and have served for five years across both Suffolk and Essex Constabularies. I bring a strong sense of discipline, and commitment to public service, developed through my military and policing experience. Currently based in the Sudbury area, my responsibilities include addressing anti-social behaviour, tackling drug-related offences, and engaging with local schools to deliver crime awareness and prevention initiatives. I take pride in contributing to the safety and wellbeing of the community through proactive policing and partnership working.
PCSO Partington has been a Police Community Support Officer for a number of years within Suffolk Constabulary. Hannah provides visible presence within the community and brings a wealth of local knowledge.
Hannah primarily focuses on visibility within the community, tackling issues within the community and focus on schools work.
