Increase call for service for road safety within Long Melford.

You Said we did: Road safety promoted through partnership working with relevant agencies. Targeted speed enforcement and educational activity conducted using speed detection equipment, with appropriate traffic offence reports issued where offences were identified.

Partnership working within the licencing community with a focus on vulnerability and staying safe within night time economy.

You said we did: Engagement with licenced premises at key times and days, Promotion of initiatives such as Ask for Angela and liaison with Suffolk Police Licencing team and local authority.

Numerous reports of ASB at Village hall with criminal damage and youths riding 125cc bikes in and around area which is having a detrimental effect on community.

You Said we did: High‑visibility patrols conducted within the identified area at key times. Officer presence used to deter criminality, provide reassurance, and engage with the public. Activity recorded and intelligence updated as required.

Targeted stop searches and proactive traffic enforcement carried out in line with identified priorities. Vehicles and individuals dealt with appropriately, offences addressed, and relevant intelligence submitted. Continued enforcement to be maintained as required.
