Police have been conducting visible patrols in a number of localities, speaking to local residents and providing crime prevention advice under Op First Principle and issuing Smart Water kits where applicable. Officers have liaised with local neighbourhood watch groups and parish councils regarding any recent incidents. Foot patrols have been conducted in a number of different rural villages in addition to a number of street meets advertised through the Suffolk Police website.
