Your community policing team
I joined Suffolk Constabulary in 2002 and began my career in uniform policing before moving into the then South East Ipswich Safer Neighbourhood Team. I subsequently undertook a range of partnership roles, working closely with external agencies to address community issues and improve outcomes.
I have served in a number of detective roles, most recently managing the Communications Data Investigation Unit.
When the opportunity arose to return to community policing, I was keen to do so, drawing on both my previous experience and existing knowledge of the area.
I have extensive experience of partnership working and hold a Master's degree in Evidence-Based Policing, which supports my commitment to delivering an effective, informed and collaborative policing response.
I joined Suffolk Constabulary as a police officer in 2018. At the start of my career, I worked predominantly within frontline policing and moved onto a team tackling child exploitation. Following this, I was promoted and joined the Community Policing Team at the end of 2024.
I am passionate about leading the team, problem solving, developing new initiatives and tactics to address local policing issues, promoting public safety and preventing crime.
I feel extremely privileged to work so closely with partners and the community to making Suffolk a safe place to live, work and visit.
I have have been a Police Constable since 2015 and transferred to Suffolk Constabularyin 2022. During that time I have worked in a variety of roles, including response and community policing.
I joined the East Ipswich CPT in September 2024 and I currently cover the area of Woodbridge, Wickham Market and surrounding villages.
I have worked for Suffolk Constabulary since 2003 and became a PCSO after 4 years working in the control room.
I have covered most of the Ipswich area within my time but have covered East Ipswich since 2016.
I joined Suffolk Constabulary in 2022 starting as the match funded pcso covering Woodbridge Kesgrave and Rushmere. I now work on the community policing team covering Felixstowe and the surrounding area. I enjoy patrolling in the community and facing new challenges.

Targeting persistent and prolific shoplifters and retail crime across the area.
Action taken:
Tackling retail crime across the area and proactively dealing with persistent offenders by arresting, prosecuting and the use of disruptive orders such as CPN and CBO, where appropriate. Work is being undertaken with frequently targeted shops around crime prevention methods.

Priority:
Tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) and associated crime in Wickham Market.
Action taken:
Officers will maintain an enhanced policing presence within the area, with a particular focus on Crown Lane. This will include high-visibility patrols and proactive engagement with residents and local businesses to provide reassurance, gather community intelligence, disrupt anti-social behaviour, and deter associated criminality.

Priority:
Tackling ASB and vehicle ASB at Ipswich Marina and Old Felixstowe.
Action taken:
Officers continue to focus patrols both on foot and in police vehicles, in the area of Ipswich Marina to tackle both general and vehicle ASB.
