I joined Suffolk constabulary in 1997 and spent several years as a response officer in Ipswich before joining the armed response team covering the entire county. I then became a sergeant in 2009 returning to response policing in Ipswich before being posted to custody in Martlesham.
I eventually escaped custody returning to response in Ipswich then later East Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe.
The town of Felixstowe is a great place to work. I have been part of the community policing team here for the last 3 years. We are all passionate about the town and committed to making it a safe place to live, work and visit.
I joined Suffolk Constabulary in 2005 and and started my career as a patrol officer in Felixstowe. In 2010 I moved to Ipswich and worked in the Ipswich area as well as Hadleigh. In late 2011 I then moved to Woodbridge and was covered areas from Leiston to Woodbridge.

I am PC 1569 Burnham-Slipper. I joined the Suffolk Constabulary initially as a Special constable in 2004 and as I loved the role and responsibility, I later became a fully-fledged police officer in November 2006. I started on response in Felixstowe, Ipswich and Woodbridge, remaining in this post for 14 years, before I entered the Community policing team in 2018 in Felixstowe for the remainder of my service.
Felixstowe is a great seaside town and a hub where I strive to help, assist and be part of the community.
I have worked for Suffolk Constabulary since 2003 and became a PCSO after 4 years working in the control room.
I have covered most of the Ipswich area within my time but have covered East Ipswich since 2016.
I joined Suffolk Constabulary in 2022 starting as the match funded pcso covering Woodbridge Kesgrave and Rushmere. I now work on the community policing team covering Felixstowe and the surrounding area. I enjoy patrolling in the community and facing new challenges.
I joined Suffolk Constabulary in 2020, where I began working as a response officer within Ipswich.
I started on the Community Policing Team in September 2025, where I cover Felixstowe.
I joined Essex Constabulary in 2006 and spent 4 years there working as a Response and Safer Neighbourhood officer. I transferred to Suffolk Constabulary in 2010 where I worked in Ipswich on a response team, in 2014 I successfully passed my Authorised Firearms Officer (AFO) training and in 2016 started working on the Armed Response Vehicle (ARV) where I spent the last 9 years covering high threat jobs all over the county of Suffolk.
I now work in Felixstowe on the Community Policing Team and am passionate about the town and helping to make it a safe place to live, grow up in and visit.
I joined Suffolk Police in 2002 and have had a varied career. I have worked on Response in Stowmarket and Ipswich. Following this I worked on the dedicated serious sexual offences team and then CID in Ipswich. Since 2018 I have been a desk-based investigator. I feel I have almost come full circle as I had 6 years working on the Safer Neighbour Team in the Southeast of Ipswich covering Heath Road and St John’s which I very much enjoyed. I am lucky to have been given this opportunity to return to Neighbourhood policing
