Alice Scott is the Assistant Chief Constable for Suffolk Constabulary responsible for the Local Policing, Crime, Safeguarding and Incident Commands. She began her policing career in Norfolk, serving in both uniform and detective roles at all ranks, with experience in safeguarding vulnerable children, intelligence, and serious and organised crime. Alice has contributed to national work on child protection and vulnerability and served as a staff officer with HMIC.
Her leadership journey includes senior roles as Area Commander, Head of People, and Head of Criminal Justice for Norfolk and Suffolk. In spring 2023, Alice transferred to Suffolk Constabulary on promotion to Head of Local Policing overseeing implementation of the New Policing Model. Alongside the ACC role she is a Gold POPS Commander and Strategic Firearms Commander.
