The body of a man has been found in Horringer, following searches for a missing 61-year-old man from Cambridgeshire.
James Webb was reported missing on Tuesday evening, 9 June, after failing to return to his home in Burwell.
Teams from the police and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SulSAR) were conducting searches in the parkland and woodland areas of Ickworth Estate yesterday, Thursday 11 June, when they discovered the body of a man.
No formal identification has taken place, but James Webb’s family have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the Coroner in due course.
