Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Lowestoft.
Officers received a report on Thursday 23 October that woman aged in her 40’s had been assaulted at some point in the morning on Monday 1 September.
It took place at the Britten Centre on London Road North in which the victim was reportedly approached by a known female and a group of youths before being attacked.
The victim sustained a broken nose during the incident.
Yesterday, Sunday 26 October, officers arrested a 16-year-old girl on suspicion of assault. She was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning and has since been released under investigation.
Police are asking anyone with any information to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime number 37/60402/25.
