Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fail-to-stop collision in Kessingland involving a van and a cyclist.
The incident occurred this morning, Wednesday 14 May, around 6:35am on the southbound carriageway of the A12.
The cyclist, a man aged in his 50s, was struck from behind by a white van, which caused him to fall to the ground and the offending vehicle’s wing mirror to fall off.
The driver of the van failed to stop at the scene.
The cyclist sustained internal injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening, and was taken to James Paget Hospital for treatment.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or motorists driving in the area this morning who may have dash cam footage of a white van missing a wing mirror.
