A man from Haverhill has been sentenced to more than four years in prison for drugs offences.
Thomas Nash Hunter, 23, of Duddery Road, appeared at Peterborough Crown Court on Thursday 1 May where he was sentenced after pleading guilty to the following at a hearing on 16 January:
He was also subject to a Suspended Sentence Order and given a further sentence of 10-month’s imprisonment, to be served consecutively.
In addition to the total four years and two month’s custodial sentence, Nash Hunter was subject to a forfeiture order of £1,675 which was will be distributed to charity, while drugs, mobile phones, weapons and drug paraphernalia which were seized will be destroyed.
Sergeant Steven Fox of Haverhill Community Policing Team said: “It is pleasing to see someone bringing these harmful substances onto our streets has now been detained, prosecuted and sentenced for his crimes, while the financial forfeiture is hopefully an additional reminder of the consequences of getting involved in these illicit activities.”
