Nigel Moyes, formerly of Primrose Way in Ipswich, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday 26 June where he was given a total sentence of 18 months, suspended for two years, after pleading guilty to two counts of arson and one count of stalking involving serious alarm/distress.
He was also made the subject of a restraining order for 10 years and GPS monitoring for six months.
PC Laura Henley said: “Stalking is a serious and distressing crime which can escalate into dangerous and destructive behaviour, like arson.”
