Four men from Ipswich have been charged with drugs offences following a series of drugs warrants in Ipswich.
The warrants took place on Tuesday 1 July in Ipswich and the surrounding area, with a total of four people arrested.
During the warrants a large amount of suspected cocaine was located and seized, along with a significant amount of cannabis.
Following their arrests four men were charged as follows:
John Leighton, 35, of New Cut East, Ipswich:
Robin Southgate, 55, Portland Way, Great Blakenham:
Dean Yule, 52, of Kemball Street, Ipswich:
Michael Harty, 55, formerly of Romford, Essex:
All four appeared at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Thursday 3 July and will next appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 31 July. Southgate, Harty and Yule were remanded in custody by the court, while Leighton was bailed with conditions.
