Police are issuing CCTV images of three men they would like to trace in connection with a handbag theft in Sudbury last year.
The incident occurred In East Street, where the victim – a woman aged in her 80s – withdrew money from a cashpoint and was then followed by three men into a nearby retail premises.
Once inside the shop, the victim was distracted by one of the men, whilst a second stole her handbag from out of her shopping trolley. All three men then left the shop together.
The bag was located by a member of the public the following day in a road near to Earls Colne in Essex. A quantity of cash in an envelope had been removed from the bag.
Police would like to speak to the three men pictured in the CCTV images attached regarding this incident.
