Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was found with serious injuries in Felixstowe.
The incident occurred between 4.50am and 5.15am this morning, Tuesday 4 February, in Grange Farm Avenue.
A woman aged in her 40s was found on the pavement next to the roundabout for Morrison’s supermarket. She was taken to hospital for treatment and was found to have sustained a fractured arm and cuts to her head.
The woman does not have any recollection of how she came off her bike and although there currently isn’t any evidence of a collision or any third-party involvement, officers are appealing for any potential witnesses that may be able to assist enquiries.
Any witnesses, or any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, are asked to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team at Police Headquarters in Martlesham, quoting reference: CAD 51 of 4 February.
