A man from the Northamptonshire has been charged with drug offences after being arrested in Stowmarket.
The man was stopped by Suffolk Constabulary’s Sentinel West team while driving in the town on 2 September. In the vehicle officers discovered a quantity of what are suspected to be Class A drugs (cocaine).
The 29-year-old man was arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Alban Rustemi, 29, of Goldings Road, Northampton, was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 3 September. He was remanded by the court to next appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 1 October.
