A man from Ipswich has been charged with drug and other offences after a vehicle was stopped in the town.
The vehicle was stopped in Landseer Road on 2 September by officers from Suffolk Constabulary’s Sentinel team.
A section 23 Misuse of Drug’s Act search was carried out and two bags were found containing suspected Class A drugs (cocaine) as well as an amount of cash.
A suspected fraudulent identity document was also located.
A property was subsequently searched, and cash and another suspected fraudulent document was located inside.
The man was arrested and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Fabio Arifaj, 25, of Freehold Road, Ipswich, was subsequently charged with the following:
Arifaj appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 4 September.
He was remanded by the court to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on 2 October.
