Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Stradbroke.
It took place on Tuesday 15 October 2024 between 8pm and 810pm on Church Street near the cemetery.
A male approached a food van, opened the front passenger door, threatened occupants with a gas canister and lighter and demanded cash. The victims in the van, three women, handed over a small quantity of cash. The offender demanded more money and made a failed attempt to light the cannister.
When the victims shouted for help the offender fled the scene. The victims were unhurt.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw any suspicious behaviour or has dashcam footage should contact Lowestoft police, quoting crime number 37/59029/24.
