The body of a man has been discovered in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were called just before 4.40pm this afternoon, Sunday 27 October, to reports that a man had been found deceased in a nature reserve near Compiegne Way.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
While the body hasn’t yet been formally identified, he is believed to be a man in his 30s. His next of kin have been notified and a file will be prepared for the Coroner in due course.
The death is being treated as unexplained at this time but police do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
