Police are appealing for information after an incident of grievous bodily harm in Newmarket.
The incident occurred between two males in St Mary’s Square between 5pm and 5.30pm on Thursday 31 October.
The victim was reportedly approached by an unknown male who is described as being a white male aged in his late 20s. The two reportedly then got into an altercation in which the victim sustained a serious head injury.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any images or footage that could assist the inquiry is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/62161/24.
