A man has appeared at court charged with drug offences after being stopped in Risby.
Officers located a vehicle of interest in Flempton Road in the village on Monday 4 November and carried out a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act search.
An amount of suspected Class A drugs was located and seized, along with a mobile phone.
Petar Gaydarov, 20, of no-fixed-abode, was arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre, where he was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and use of a motor vehicle while uninsured.
He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 5 November, and was remanded by the court to next appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 3 December.
