Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Ipswich.
Police were called to Foxhall Road just before 3:45pm yesterday, Thursday 9 May, following reports of a collision involving a grey BMW car and a red Kawasaki motorcycle, near Broadlands Road.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and was first taken to Ipswich Hospital, before being flown by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment to injuries that were initially considered to be potentially life-changing. He remains in a stable condition.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage.
