Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision near Aldeburgh.
Police were called shortly after 8:40am today, Sunday 12 May, to reports of a collision on the A1094 involving a silver Vauxhall Astra car and a silver Honda motorcycle.
The East of England Ambulance service, air ambulance and a volunteer paramedic from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) were all in attendance to the incident.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 60s, sustained serious injuries and has been flown by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment.
The road is currently closed for collision investigation and recovery of the vehicles involved.
Police are keen to trace the driver of a silver pickup truck, who is believed to have been at the scene around the time of the collision, as they may be able to assist with enquiries.
Officers are also appealing for motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review their footage.
