Police have charged a woman from Woolpit with a drug offence.
Officers had cause to stop a vehicle near Woolpit on Tuesday 18 June. A search of the vehicle took place under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act, while the driver was also searched.
Following the searches, police located a 1kg bag containing what was suspected to be a Class B drug (cannabis).
The driver, a 27-year-old woman, was arrested and was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Elle Nutkins, 27, of Old Stowmarket Road, Woolpit, was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
Nutkins was bailed to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on 6 August.
