Two men are due in court today charged with burglary offences in Lowestoft.
Police were called just before 10:30pm on Thursday 30 May to reports of a burglary in progress at a property on Beresford Road.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the property, but a second male suspect fled the scene. Following enquiries, a 31-year-old man was identified and arrested.
Jacob Doy, aged 25 and of Halcyon Crescent in Lowestoft, and 31-year-old Toby Maxwell of Kingfisher Crescent in Southwold have subsequently been charged with two counts of burglary.
The pair are due to appear before Norwich Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 6 June.
