Police have charged three men with drug offences in Ipswich.
Officers arrested two men after a warrant was executed at an address on Benezet Street in Ipswich on Tuesday 9 January.
A search of the property was conducted and suspected Class A and Class B drugs along with over £800 in cash were recovered within.
A 19-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both from Ipswich, were arrested at the property on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
They were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and were charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin.
Nuno Gomes, 19, and Jorge Silva, 33, both of Benezet Street in Ipswich, appeared at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 11 January where Gomes was remanded in custody and Silva was conditionally bailed with both to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ court on Thursday 8 February.
Subsequently, a third man, Hugo Paiva, 24, of Rope Walk in Ipswich, was charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin in connection with the incident and is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Monday 12 February
