Police are now able to name a woman whose body was found in Mildenhall on Wednesday 3 January.
Pending formal Coroner’s inquest proceedings, the deceased has been provisionally identified as Erin Hunnisett, aged 38, from Mildenhall.
Erin had last been seen in Brandon Road, Mildenhall, at around 8.40am on Sunday 31 December.
Extensive searches took place and on Wednesday afternoon (3 January) the body of a woman was found in an area north of Brandon Road.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and there are no indications of any third-party involvement.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Erin’s death and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

Police searching for missing person Erin Hunnisett have discovered a body.
The body was found by search teams in an area north of Brandon Road, Mildenhall, shortly after 12pm this afternoon, 3 January.
While the body hasn’t yet been formally identified, the family of Erin Hunnisett have been informed.
The death is being treated as unexplained at this time but police do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.

Police are asking residents and road users to check CCTV footage, smart doorbells and dash-cameras as efforts to locate a missing woman from Mildenhall continue.
Erin Hunnisett, 38, was last seen in Brandon Road, Mildenhall, at around 8.40am on Sunday 31 December.
Erin is 5ft 4ins tall, of a fair complexion, with red hair. She was last seen wearing a dark-coloured, hooded jacket with a light-coloured uniform underneath, and a work lanyard around her neck. She was also wearing dark-coloured trousers and dark shoes with white soles. Erin was carrying a black handbag and an orange carrier-bag.
Searches in the area continue, with officers being supported by Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SULSAR).
Residents living in Brandon Road or surrounding streets that have CCTV or a smart doorbell, are asked to review footage from the evening of 31 December. Drivers who were driving along Brandon Road, Thetford Road, A1101, A1065 or surrounding streets that evening are also asked to review their footage.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate her and anyone who has seen Erin, knows of her whereabouts or has any information should contact Suffolk police on 101.
