Police have charged a man with attempted robbery following an incident in Lowestoft.
A man, aged in his 30s, was delivering parcels on Viburnum Green on Wednesday 14 February at about midday when he was approached by a male who threatened him if he didn’t hand over a parcel, claiming he had a knife. Although none was seen. The victim left the scene as did the suspect. No-one was hurt in the incident.
Enquires were made and a male was arrested in Newmarket A14 BP services late the same day at about 1.20pm. He was taken into custody and questioned.
Warren James- Harding, aged 43 and of Marian Way in London was charged with attempted robbery. He was remanded to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court this morning (Fri 16 February)
