Two men have been charged after a cannabis grow was located in Ipswich town centre.
Officers executed a pre-planned Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at a derelict business premises in Carr Street on the morning of Friday 20 December.
A large cannabis grow was located over four floors of the building and two men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
They were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Kledis Zefi, 23, and Llazar Lepuri, 21, both of no fixed address, were subsequently charged with production of a controlled Class B drug (cannabis).
They appeared at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 21 December where they were remanded in custody by the court to next appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 20 January.
