A 20-year-old man from Lancashire has been charged in connection with drug offences in Ipswich.
Azizbek Egamshukurov, of Great Avenham Street in Preston, was arrested just before 8:15pm on Tuesday 10 December after officers on patrol had cause to stop a black Honda Jazz, travelling along London Road in the town.
The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was searched under the misuse of drugs act, with suspected class A drugs seized as a result of the search.
He was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and subsequently charged with the following offences:
Egamshukurov appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Thursday 12 December, where he was remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday 9 January 2025.
