A 30-year-old man is due in court today after being charged with retail theft offences.
Samuel Whiting, of Portsch Close in Lowestoft, is charged with one count of theft and one count of attempted theft.
It follows two incidents that occurred between Friday 6 and Sunday 8 December at The Co-operative Food store on Ashburnham Way in Carlton Colville.
Whiting was arrested yesterday, Tuesday 10 December, and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he was subsequently charged with the offences.
He is due to appear before Norwich Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 11 December).
