The death of a woman whose body was found in Ipswich yesterday is now not being treated as suspicious following numerous enquiries.
Police were called at just before 9.30pm yesterday evening, Sunday 25 August, by a member of the public who had concerns regarding an address in Mottram Close. On arrival at the property officers discovered a woman aged in her 60s deceased inside.
A Home Office post-mortem examination took place earlier today, Monday 26 August, and concluded that the woman’s death was from natural causes and so is not being treated as suspicious. The police cordon near address has now been lifted.
A man aged in his 40s arrested in connection with the incident has now been released from police custody and will face no further action.
A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
