Police were called at just after 7pm on Thursday 17 August, to reports of a collision involving two cars – a silver Audi A4 and a grey Audi A6 - on the A1088.
Police, paramedics, an air ambulance and the fire service were all in attendance at the incident.
The driver and sole occupant of the Audi A4, a 48-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Audi A6, a 35-year-old woman, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment, where she sadly died on Friday 29 September.
The three passengers of the Audi A6, who are all children, were also taken to hospital for treatment, with two of them sustaining serious injuries. They have all since been discharged.
Officers are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the collision and ask that any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage.
