Police have arrested a teenager in connection with an incident in Beccles.
It took place on Monday 13 November on a track off George Westwood Way.
A male used a pole to attack two nesting swans. Both creatures were distressed but uninjured.
A 16 year old teenager was arrested on suspicion of injuring a Schedule 1 wild bird and suspicion of causing criminal damage and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He was released on police bail pending further enquiries, to answer on 16 February 2024.
