A man has died following a two-vehicle collision in Elveden.
Police were called at 5:55am today, Thursday 2 November, to reports of a collision on the B1106 involving a Vauxhall Corsa car and a motorcycle.
A volunteer paramedic from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) and ambulance crews were also in attendance, but despite the best efforts of medical personnel the rider of the motorcycle – a man aged in his 20s – sadly died at the scene.
The road was closed between Brandon and the A11 for allow for collision investigation and recovery of the vehicles involved, but reopened by 1pm.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision and are also asking any motorists driving in the area at the time with a dashcam in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
