A man has died following a single vehicle collision in Rougham.
Police were called at 12:25am today, Friday 22 December, to report of a collision on the A14 between junctions 45 and 44.
A yellow Lotus Emira travelling on the westbound carriageway had left the road and collided with a tree.
Police, fire and ambulance crew were all in attendance to the collision.
The driver, a man aged in his 20s, sadly died at the scene. His passenger, a man aged in his 20s, sustained injuries not believed to be life threatening and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was closed to allow for collision investigation and recovery of the vehicle. It reopened just before 10:20am.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision and are also asking any motorists driving in the area at the time with a dashcam in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
