A woman, formerly of Leiston, is due to appear before court in connection with fraud offences.
Gemma Pearse, aged 33 and formerly of Waterloo Avenue in Leiston, is charged with two counts of fraud against an organisation.
She is charged with fraud by abuse of position in that between 1 January 2017 and 17 March 2022, whilst as treasurer of Knodishall Playgroup, cash and bank transfers were embezzled to the value of £17,000 and that also between 1 January 2017 and 17 March 2022 accounts were falsified.
She is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court on Friday 26 January at 1.15pm.
