Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of criminal damage and assault in Bungay.
It took place on Saturday 18 November at 11pm on Broad Street. A window of a residential property was smashed. (crime number - 37/67092/23) Police are linking it to a second incident on Broad Street where a male in his 50s was assaulted by a man after the window was smashed. The victim sustained a cut to the head. (37/67096/23)
A 22 year old male was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage and was released on police bail, to answer on 13 December.
A 50 year old male was arrested on criminal damage and was released on police bail, to answer on 15 December.
Anyone who witnessed either incident or has knowledge of who was involved should contact Lowestoft police, quoting the relevant crime number.
