Police are releasing new images of missing 81-year-old Lowestoft man Gerard Keen a week after he went missing.

Mr Keen was last seen at his home address in Conrad Road around 11.45am on Wednesday 28 October, and has not been seen since. He had gone one of his regular short walks but failed to return home as usual.

After searches in the area to try to find him, involving officers on the ground, the police helicopter and other agencies including the fire service, coastguard and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue, police are continuing to ask anyone who may have seen him to get in touch.

Gerard is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall with white hair. He is clean shaven and was wearing a black jacket, dark trousers and possibly a tweed cap.

Officers are very concerned for his welfare and are asking for anyone who has seen Gerard or has any information about his whereabouts to contact Suffolk Police by dialling 101.

Police are continuing to appeal for help to trace a missing 81-year-old man from Lowestoft.

Over the past few days police in Lowestoft have been continuing searches to locate him but no trace of him has been found. A number of other agencies have assisted including the coastguard, fire service and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue.

Officers have also been going house to house and distributing a leaflet urging residents to check sheds, gardens and any other outbuildings in a bid to get any information that may locate Mr Keen.

Gerard is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall with white hair. He is clean shaven and was wearing a black jacket, dark trousers and possibly a tweed cap.

Police are renewing appeals for help to trace a missing 81-year-old man from Lowestoft.

Gerard Keen was last seen at his home address in Conrad Road around 11.45am yesterday, Wednesday 28 October, and has not been seen since. He had gone one of his regular short walks but failed to return home as usual.

Today officers from the local area and across the county have been carrying out searches to try to locate him, including ground, water and air searches with the assistance of the police helicopter and other agencies such as the coastguard, fire service and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue.
