Theft of batteries from Great Waldingfield

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of theft of batteries from Great Waldingfield
 
At Acton on Thursday evening (10 September) at about 10pm a John Deere tractor (crime number 37/52926/20)  was stolen from Acton but was left abandoned after the offenders failed in their attempt to force open gates of an industrial business. A second incident took place on Friday 11 September in the early hours where an Atlas digger was stolen from a business premises at Great Waldingfield. 
 
The same morning on 11 September a business premises in Great Waldingfield was broken into. Unknown offenders have cut the padlocks to the business stealing around one ton of batteries before using, what is thought to have been the same Atlas digger, to force their way out the premises causing damage to the main gates (Crime reference: 37/52891/20)
 
Anyone who witnessed any of the above incident or has knowledge of who was responsible should contact police, quoting the relevant crime reference number.
