Sudbury - GBH assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of grievous bodily harm in Sudbury.

It took place on Tuesday 28 March at about 10pm and took place in the area of the junction of Gregory Street (A131) and Walnut Tree Lane.

A 20 year old male was cut with a knife on the right side of the body, above the hip. The injury wasn’t lift changing or life threatening.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses who may have seen a group of around three males in the area at the time of the incident.

Officers also believe this was a targeted incident where the individuals concerned are thought to be known to each other.

Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam or doorbell footage that may be of help are asked to contact Sudbury police, quoting crime reference 37/18204/23.
