Robbery charge - Lowestoft

Police have charged a man in connection with a robbery in Lowestoft.
 
It follows an incident at about 11.20pm on Yarmouth Road where a 17 year old male had his mountain bike, his i-phone, his ear pods, his bag and contents including cards taken. The victim was not physically injured.
 
A 32 year old male was arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of robbery and was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre.

32 year old Nicholas Everett of London Road South in Lowestoft was charged with robbery and and possession of offensive weapon. He was remanded to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court today. (Friday 11 June).

Police are appealing for witness after a robbery last night (Wed 9 June) in Lowestoft.
 
It follows an incident at about 11.20pm on Yarmouth Road where a 17 year old male was pushed by unknown person on street, and the suspect then produced a screwdriver and pressed it against his chest and against his neck. 
 
The suspect demanded and obtained the victim's mountain bike, his iphone, his ear pods, his bag and contents including cards. The victim was not physically injured.
 
A 32 year old male was arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of robbery and was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre where he remains for questioning.
