Parked cars damaged in Felixstowe

Police are appealing for information after several parked cars were damaged in two Felixstowe streets.

Officers received two reports of incidents which occurred overnight on 17 April to 18 April in St Andrew’s Road and Fleetwood Road.

In the first, a resident said she heard shouting and rowdy youths outside her house at 1am on 18 April. In the morning she discovered a wing mirror had been wrenched or kicked off her car, which was parked in the drive. In the second, a resident reported both wing mirrors had been ripped off her car, which was parked in the street. Both residents told officers that several neighbours had told them about similar incidents.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed either the criminal damage or rowdy behaviour in the area to contact them, quoting crime reference 37/23062/22 (St Andrew’s Road) or 37/23192/22 (Fleetwood Road).
