Orford – Appeal following burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses or information following a burglary in Orford.

The incident occurred between 1am and 6am yesterday, Wednesday 1 December at The Butley Orford Oysterage in Market Hill.

During the early hours of the morning, an unknown suspect forced entry into the restaurant, carried out a search and stole an amount of cash from within.

An amount of food was also spoiled as a result of the incident.

Any witnesses, anyone with information, or alternatively, anyone who may have captured any relevant CCTV footage via a doorbell camera or private CCTV cameras, should contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number: 37/67944/21
