Newmarket – Wanted man arrested

Police have arrested a 44-year-old man from the Newmarket area who was wanted.

Phillip George Emery, known as Phil, was wanted in connection with breaching a licence and was also wanted on recall to prison.

He was arrested shortly after 3.30pm yesterday, Wednesday 7 April in Newmarket and was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre. He has subsequently been returned to the prison system.

Police are appealing for help to trace a 44-year-old man from the Newmarket area who is wanted.

Phillip George Emery, known as Phil, is wanted in connection with breaching a licence and is also wanted on recall to prison.

He is described as white, approximately 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build and with blue eyes.

Emery has connections to the Ely area in Cambridgeshire.

Members of the public are advised not to approach him.

Anyone who believes they have seen Emery, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact Suffolk police on 101.
