Newmarket - Two arrested in connection with county lines drugs offences
Suffolk Police arrested two people in Newmarket yesterday in connection with county lines drugs offences.
Following a welfare check at an address on Windsor Road, yesterday (Thursday 12 November) at 5.30pm, officers from the West Scorpion team detained two males and were joined by officers from the West Sentinel team who assisted with searches.
Officers recovered a knife and a package containing a quantity of wraps, believed to be class A drugs worth in the region of £5000.
A man in his 40s and a teenage boy from London were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and taken to Bury St Edmunds police investigation centre where they remain for questioning.
