Lowestoft – Assault appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place in Lowestoft.

It took place on Thursday 16 June at about 9.55pm on Denmark Road in the town.

A 19 year old woman stood outside the front of an end terrace house was assaulted by a suspect. The female offender threw her to the floor and then punched her to the head. After victim got back up the suspect again punched her to the head and victim crossed the road to get away. The suspect chased the victim, again punching victim to the head before leaving the scene. The victim was not seriously hurt.

Police are keen to speak to a male, in a white t-shirt, who is shown in CCTV, to walk past the train station that stopped for a few seconds to watch and who then walked off.
